Leaderboard Strategy Guide — Knowledge Over Capital
How to climb the ScorePlay leaderboard using accuracy and consistency. Knowledge over capital: rankings reflect your football IQ, not your wallet.
On ScorePlay, the leaderboard reflects knowledge and accuracy, not how much you stake. Here’s how the system works and how to improve your rank.
How leaderboard rankings work
Your position is determined by ScorePoints (SP). You earn SP when your predictions are correct. The more accurate you are over time, the more SP you earn and the higher you rank. Capital (e.g. USDC) does not change your SP or your rank—it can only amplify rewards in regions where USDC is available.
So: knowledge over capital. A player with high accuracy and no USDC can outrank someone with lower accuracy and large stakes.
Tips to climb the leaderboard
- Focus on accuracy — Only correct votes earn SP. A few well-researched votes beat many random ones.
- Be consistent — Regular, accurate voting builds SP over time. Don’t chase volume; chase correctness.
- Use your football knowledge — Form, injuries, and context matter. Use what you know about teams and leagues.
- Track your performance — Use your dashboard and leaderboard to see accuracy and rank. Adjust where you vote if needed.
- Play in Free Mode — You can reach the top of the leaderboard without ever using USDC. Free Mode and USDC Mode share the same SP and leaderboard.
Weekly, monthly, and all-time
ScorePlay leaderboards can be filtered by time window (e.g. weekly, monthly, all-time). That means you can compete in short sprints or over the long run. Consistency across periods tends to matter more than one lucky week.
