How Leaderboards Work

Leaderboards rank players based on their ScorePoints (SP), which are earned from accurate predictions. Your position is determined by:

  • Accuracy - Correct votes earn SP
  • Consistency - Regular accurate voting builds SP over time
  • Knowledge - SP reflects your football knowledge, not capital

Important: The leaderboard reflects knowledge and accuracy, not wealth. A player with high accuracy and no USDC can rank higher than a player with low accuracy and large USDC.

Time Periods

Leaderboards are available for different time periods:

Weekly Leaderboard

  • Rankings for the last 7 days
  • Quick competitions
  • Weekly prizes and raffles

Monthly Leaderboard

  • Full month competition
  • More time to accumulate points
  • Monthly prize pools

All-Time Leaderboard

  • Cumulative rankings
  • Lifetime achievements
  • Hall of fame

Viewing Leaderboards

Top Performers

  • Podium: Top 3 players displayed prominently
  • Table: Full rankings with positions
  • Your Position: Highlighted in the table

Filtering Options

Filter leaderboards by:

  • Time Period: Weekly, monthly, all-time
  • Chain: Sophon, Avalanche, or Global (if applicable)

Global Prize Pool

  • Accumulated rewards from all participants
  • Distributed to top performers
  • Grows with platform activity

Distribution

  • Top 10: Largest share of prizes

ScorePoints System

Earning ScorePoints

Voting (Offchain):

  • 1 SP per vote (earned immediately)
  • No capital required
  • Available to everyone
  • Accuracy still matters for winning rewards

USDC Positions:

  • 1 SP per $1 staked (earned when position is created)
  • 100 SP per $1 profit if you win (earned when you claim)
  • Example: Stake $10, win $15 profit → Earn 10 SP + 1500 SP = 1510 SP total

Bonus: Vote + USDC Position:

  • If you have both a vote AND a USDC position:
    • 1 SP from the vote (earned immediately)
    • 100 SP bonus for having both
    • (Profit + 100) SP if you win (instead of profit × 100)
  • Example: Vote + $0.38 stake, $0.71 profit → Earn 1 SP + 100 SP + 171 SP = 272 SP total
