USDC participation allows you to multiply rewards from correct votes. It does not change the core competition mechanics, ScorePoints calculation, or leaderboard rankings.

Understanding USDC Participation

What It Adds

USDC participation (where permitted) multiplies the rewards you earn from correct votes. It does not:

• Change ScorePoints calculation
• Affect leaderboard rankings
• Change competition mechanics
• Require participation to compete

How It Works

1. Connect your wallet - Use any Web3 wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
2. Verify availability - USDC features are only available in permitted regions
3. Add USDC - Optionally add USDC to multiply rewards
4. Vote as normal - Voting mechanics remain the same
5. Earn multiplied rewards - Correct votes with USDC earn multiplied rewards

Market Types (USDC Participation Only)

If you participate with USDC (where permitted), you may encounter different market types:

Pool-Based Markets (V1)

Pool-based markets use shared pools where all votes go into a common pool, and winners split the pool proportionally.

How it works:

1. Select an event with V1 markets available
2. Connect your wallet and ensure you have USDC
3. Choose your outcome and vote amount
4. Your vote goes into a shared pool
5. Wait for match resolution
6. If your outcome wins, claim your proportional share

Characteristics:

• Fixed outcomes - you cannot exit your position before resolution
• Proportional payouts based on pool size
• Simple mechanics

LMSR-Based Markets (V2)

LMSR (Logarithmic Market Scoring Rule) markets use automated market maker (AMM) mechanics with dynamic pricing.

How it works:

1. Go to a match with V2 markets available
2. Connect your wallet and ensure you have USDC
3. View current probabilities for each outcome
4. Enter the amount you want to vote
5. Select your preferred outcome
6. Review the position preview and confirm
7. Your position will be tracked in real-time
8. You can sell your position before match ends if desired

Characteristics:

• Dynamic probabilities that adjust with market activity
• Can exit positions before match ends
• Real-time position tracking

Understanding Probabilities

Probabilities represent the likelihood of an outcome:

• Higher probability = More likely to happen
• Lower probability = Less likely to happen, but higher reward if correct

The app shows probabilities as percentages (e.g., 45%, 30%, 25%).

Position Tracking (USDC Participation Only)

If you participate with USDC (where permitted), you can track your positions:

Real-time Tracking

Your positions update in real-time as:

• Market probabilities change
• Other participants enter/exit positions
• Match events occur (goals, cards, etc.)

Viewing Your Positions

Check your Dashboard to see:

• All your active positions
• Position value and potential rewards
• Vote history
• ScorePoints earned

Fees (USDC Participation Only)

If you participate with USDC (where permitted), trading includes:

• Protocol Fees: Small fee to the protocol
• Gas Fees: Blockchain transaction costs
• Fees are deducted from your vote amount

Position Sizing

• Never vote more than you can afford to lose
• Consider your total portfolio allocation
• Start small and scale up as you learn

Diversification

• Don't put all funds on one match
• Spread risk across multiple predictions
• Balance high-risk and low-risk votes
