1. Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you" or "your"), and ScorePlay ("ScorePlay", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your use of the ScorePlay websites, mobile apps, and related services (together, the "Service").

ScorePlay is a free, skill-based football prediction game. You predict match scores and results, earn points for accuracy, and compete on leaderboards and in private leagues with friends. Playing is free. There are no stakes, no entry fees, no cash prizes offered by ScorePlay, and no deposits of any kind.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

The Service is a game of skill. Points ("ScorePoints" or "SP") measure prediction accuracy. They have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, sold, exchanged, or redeemed for anything of value, and may be recalculated to correct scoring errors.
ScorePlay does not accept wagers, hold player funds, offer prizes of monetary value for gameplay, or pay out winnings of any kind.
Match data and results come from third-party sports data providers. We settle predictions against that data in good faith but do not guarantee its accuracy or timeliness. Where a match result is corrected at the source, we may re-settle affected predictions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific feature, the score used to settle a prediction is the result at the end of regulation time; knockout "winner" markets settle on the team that advances.

3. Private Leagues and Commissioner-Run Competitions

The Service lets you create or join private leagues: invite-only leaderboards administered by the league's creator or appointed commissioner ("Commissioner").

We keep score; your league's stakes are your business. ScorePlay provides scorekeeping, standings, and league administration tools only. Any prize, wager, side bet, or other arrangement among league members is organized entirely outside the Service, is the sole responsibility of the members and the Commissioner, and is not offered, held, endorsed, facilitated, or guaranteed by ScorePlay. You are solely responsible for ensuring any such arrangement is lawful in your jurisdiction. ScorePlay is not a party to it and has no liability arising from it.
Commissioners may configure league settings (for example scoring presets, pick visibility, member management). Commissioners must not use leagues to conduct unlawful activity, and we may remove leagues or members that violate these Terms.
League names, avatars, and other member-provided content must not be unlawful, infringing, hateful, or impersonating. We may remove or moderate such content and suspend accounts that repeatedly violate this rule.

4. Accounts, Wallets, and Legacy On-Chain Activity

You may sign in with an email, social login, or a blockchain wallet. A wallet is used as an identity method only: playing the game requires no blockchain transactions, no cryptocurrency, and no fees.
During earlier competitions (concluded July 2026), ScorePlay offered optional paid pools settled on public blockchains. Those competitions are closed: all pools are settled, and no new paid entries are accepted anywhere on the Service. Historical boards remain visible as an archive. Any past on-chain transactions are public and irreversible by nature; nothing on the Service today initiates new ones.

5. Eligibility

You may only use the Service if you are 16 years or older and legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

6. User Content and Prediction Data

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as league names or avatars) and grant ScorePlay a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and reproduce it for operating and promoting the Service.
Prediction data. You agree that ScorePlay owns the aggregated and per-user prediction data generated by gameplay (picks, timing, accuracy, and derived statistics) and may analyze, publish, license, or commercialize it, including in aggregated or user-attributed leaderboard form. Where required by applicable data-protection law, personal data within such datasets is handled per our Privacy Policy.

7. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation, or use the Service for unlawful purposes.
Create accounts or submit predictions by automated means, or operate multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards.
Interfere with the operation of the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or transmit malicious code.
Impersonate any person or entity.
Harass other players or post unlawful, hateful, or infringing content.

We may correct standings, void predictions, or suspend accounts involved in manipulation or abuse.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any information (including live scores and settlement data) is accurate or timely.
Leaderboards may be recalculated to correct errors, remove fraudulent accounts, or reflect corrected match data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScorePlay is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and ScorePlay's total liability to you will not exceed $100 USD. ScorePlay has no liability for any arrangement between league members made outside the Service (Section 3).

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ScorePlay and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, your infringement of any rights of others, or any prize or wagering arrangement organized among league members outside the Service.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service and associated branding are owned by ScorePlay or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without permission. Our trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property are protected by law.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands. Any disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration seated in the British Virgin Islands, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Class actions and representative claims are waived; you waive your right to a jury trial.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Service. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be flagged by a notice on the Service and an updated "Last Updated" date.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, or pose a risk to the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

15. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and ScorePlay regarding the Service.
