Privacy Policy

Last Updated: December 2024

Introduction

This website-hosted user interface (the "Interface") is made available by Scoreplay Société Anonyme, a company incorporated and existing under the laws of the British Virgin Islands ("ScorePlay", "we", "us", or "our").

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") governs how we collect, use, store, and share information from users ("you", "your") through ScorePlay's websites, including the Interface, web applications, mobile applications, and all associated sites linked to ScorePlay by us or our affiliates (collectively, the "Site"). This Policy also applies to all information we collect through our Site and otherwise obtain in connection with our products, services, content, features, technologies, and functions (together with the Site, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

You can contact us with privacy-related questions at: [email protected].

Applicability

This Policy applies to all information collected through your interaction with our Services. It does not apply to offline collection or unrelated third-party websites or services.

"Personal information" means data that can identify you, either directly or indirectly. This does not include aggregated or anonymized data that cannot reasonably identify you.

Information We Collect

We may collect information in the following ways:

1. Directly from You

When you create an account, participate in predictions, or interact with our community, we may collect:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, postal address, date of birth, country of residence, phone number, and any other information you choose to provide.

  • Wallet Information: Your blockchain wallet address and associated public transactions.

  • Verification Data: Government-issued ID and related documents, if required for compliance or fraud prevention.

  • Account Information: Username, referral code, preferences, and settings.

  • Transaction Information: Prediction history, trading activity, reward claims, and transaction hashes.

  • Communication Information: Support requests, feedback, inquiries, and community interactions.

2. Automatically

When you use our Services, we automatically collect:

  • Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, referring pages, pages visited, features used, time spent on Platform, and click patterns.

  • Mobile Data: Device type, unique device ID, geolocation (if enabled), time zone, and language settings.

  • Cookies & Tracking: Session data, preferences, site activity, authentication tokens (JWT), and analytics data to improve performance and security.

  • Blockchain Data: On-chain transaction history (publicly available), wallet addresses you interact with, smart contract interactions, and transaction confirmations.

Note: Blockchain data is public and permanent. We cannot control or remove on-chain data.

3. From Third Parties

We may receive information from:

  • Wallet Providers: Information from wallet services (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) when you connect your wallet.

  • Analytics Services:

    • PostHog: User behavior analytics and product insights
    • Google Analytics: Platform usage statistics
  • Error Tracking:

    • Sentry: Error logs and performance data
  • Blockchain Networks: Public blockchain data, transaction confirmations, and network status information.

  • Social Networks: If you connect social media accounts to your ScorePlay account.

  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting, payment processors, and compliance providers.

Special Notes on Prediction Activity

ScorePlay operates both:

  • Testnet Mode: Uses "Credits" (off-chain play money) for free-to-play predictions.

  • Mainnet Mode: Uses USDC for real-value predictions on the blockchain.

SP Points are an off-chain points system that may be earned through predictions, referrals, or promotions. These points are not transferable on-chain and are tracked internally.

Public blockchain transactions (e.g., USDC predictions) are immutable and visible to anyone. Your wallet address and any transaction history will be public by design.

We use your information to:

  • Operate and Improve Services: Provide, maintain, and improve our Services, including the Interface and interaction with the Protocol.

  • Process Transactions: Process predictions, trades, prize payouts, and reward claims.

  • Account Management: Authenticate and manage your account, calculate leaderboard rankings, and track referral activity.

  • Security and Compliance: Prevent fraud, cheating, abuse, and comply with legal obligations, including Restricted Jurisdiction requirements.

  • Customer Support: Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.

  • Communication: Send updates, promotions, and important notices (you can opt out of non-essential marketing).

  • Analytics: Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience, develop new features, and optimize performance.

  • Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws, respond to legal requests, and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

We may share your information with:
