Welcome to ScorePlay. This guide helps you make your first prediction and start earning ScorePoints.

What is ScorePlay?

ScorePlay is a skill game built around predicting the exact score. You earn ScorePoints from accuracy and climb the leaderboard.

Free play is available worldwide (except sanctioned countries). You can predict matches, earn ScorePoints, and compete on leaderboards without any money or cryptocurrency required.

In some regions you can optionally add USDC to enter the shared pool. It is optional, and accuracy on free picks can still win on the leaderboard.

Step 1: Log in

Before you can predict, log in:

1. Click the "LOG IN" button in the top right corner
2. Choose your login method:
   • Google - Sign in with your Google account
   • Wallet - Connect with MetaMask, WalletConnect, or another Web3 wallet
3. Complete the authentication process

Once logged in, you can start predicting.

Step 2: Predict the score

1. Visit /compete to see upcoming matches
2. Browse matches or use filters to find one you want to predict
3. Click a match to view details
4. Pick the scoreline you expect on the grid (this also sets the winner)
5. Submit your prediction
6. Earn ScorePoints when you enter a pick and more when your exact score is right

Step 3: Track your performance

Visit your Dashboard (/dashboard) to see:

• All your predictions and their outcomes
• Your accuracy rate
• ScorePoints earned
• Leaderboard position

Step 4: Compete on leaderboards

Check the Leaderboard to see:

• All-time rankings, Score Qualification (weekly open), and Score Champions (weekly elite, same SP, gated field)
• Top performers and the prize pool for the active season

Ways to play

Free play

• Available to everyone worldwide (except sanctioned countries)
• Predict scorelines without any money or cryptocurrency
• Earn ScorePoints (some for taking part, the most for the exact score)
• Compete on leaderboards

USDC pool

• Only available where the law allows
• Requires wallet connection and USDC, on Base
• Same prediction; a $5 entry puts you in a shared pool where the top of the leaderboard splits the pot
• You compete against other players, not the house

Tips for success

• Focus on accuracy - The exact score earns the largest SP bonuses
• Be consistent - Regular accurate predictions build SP over time
• Research matches - Knowledge improves accuracy
• Track your performance - Monitor your accuracy rate

Understanding ScorePoints

ScorePoints (SP) come from predictions: some SP when you enter a pick, and more when your exact score is right. Total SP sets your position on each leaderboard view.
