ScorePlay Glossary
Definitions of key terms: SP, Free Mode, USDC Mode, oracle, ScorePoints, leaderboard, and more.
Short definitions of key terms used on ScorePlay. For full details, see the linked docs.
SP / ScorePoints
ScorePoints (SP) is the point system that powers the leaderboard. You earn SP from correct predictions. The more accurate and consistent you are, the more SP you earn. SP reflects knowledge and accuracy, not capital. See SP & economy.
Free Mode
Free Mode is the main way to play ScorePlay: vote on match outcomes for free. Available worldwide (except sanctioned countries). Earn ScorePoints and compete on the leaderboard. See How voting works.
USDC Mode
USDC Mode is an optional way to participate in some regions: you can add USDC to your predictions. It can amplify rewards but does not change how ScorePoints or leaderboard rankings work. Only available where permitted by law. Requires wallet connection. See Prediction modes.
Leaderboard
The leaderboard ranks players by ScorePoints (SP). You can filter by time (e.g. weekly, monthly, all-time) and sometimes by chain. Rankings reflect accuracy and consistency, not capital. See Points and leaderboard.
Oracle
An oracle is the system or data source that provides the official match result used to settle predictions. ScorePlay uses oracles to determine which votes were correct and to award ScorePoints and (where applicable) resolve USDC positions. See Safety and fairness.
Vote / prediction
A vote (or prediction) is your choice of outcome for a match—e.g. Team A wins, Draw, or Team B wins. In Free Mode, votes are free and earn SP when correct. In USDC Mode (where available), you can also stake USDC on the same outcome.
Compete
Compete is the main play page where you see upcoming matches and submit votes. Visit Compete to start playing.
Geoblocking
Geoblocking means restricting certain features (e.g. USDC Mode) by region for legal compliance. Free Mode is available in most countries; USDC Mode is only shown where permitted. Using a VPN to bypass restrictions violates our Terms.
Activated user
An activated user is someone who has completed enough activity to be counted as engaged—e.g. 3+ free votes or 1+ USDC bet. Used for funnel and retention metrics.
