ScorePlay is a football knowledge competition where you vote on match outcomes and earn ScorePoints based on accuracy and consistency.

Free Voting (Primary Mode)

How Voting Works

Voting is free and simple:

  1. Browse upcoming matches
  2. Select an outcome (Team A, Draw, or Team B)
  3. Submit your vote
  4. Earn ScorePoints when your vote is correct

No money or cryptocurrency required.

Types of Votes

Match Winner

  • Predict which team will win
  • Simple: Team A, Team B, or Draw
  • Great for beginners

Score Predictions

  • Predict the exact final score of a match
  • Enter scores for both teams
  • Most accurate predictions earn the most points

Multi-Option Predictions

  • Choose from predefined options
  • Examples: "Over 2.5 goals", "Player X to score", etc.
  • Each event may have different options

Earning ScorePoints

SP from Correct Votes

  • Correct votes earn ScorePoints - The more accurate your predictions, the more SP you earn
  • Consistency matters - Regular accurate voting builds SP over time
  • Heavy rewards for accuracy - Correct votes are heavily rewarded to prioritize signal over volume
  • No capital required - SP is earned from knowledge, not wealth

SP Calculation

SP is calculated based on:

  • Prediction accuracy - Correct votes earn SP
  • Consistency - Regular participation and accuracy
  • Difficulty - More difficult predictions may earn bonus SP

Important: SP reflects knowledge and accuracy, not capital. A player with low or no USDC can still rank highly through accuracy and consistency.

Optional USDC Participation

Important: USDC participation is optional, opt-in, and only available where permitted by law.

If you choose to participate with USDC (where permitted):

What USDC Participation Adds

  • Multiplies rewards - USDC can amplify the rewards you earn from correct votes
  • Does not change game rules - The competition mechanics remain the same
  • Does not affect SP calculation - ScorePoints are still earned from accuracy
  • Geoblocked - Not available in all jurisdictions

How USDC Participation Works

  1. Connect your wallet - Use any Web3 wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
  2. Verify availability - USDC features are only available in permitted regions
  3. Add USDC - Optionally add USDC to multiply rewards from correct votes
  4. Vote as normal - Voting mechanics remain the same
  5. Amplified rewards - Correct votes with USDC earn multiplied rewards

What Changes with USDC

What changes:

  • Reward multipliers: USDC can amplify rewards from correct votes
  • Network: Requires blockchain network for USDC transactions
  • Availability: Restricted by jurisdiction

What stays the same:

  • Match selection and probabilities
  • Voting interface and flow
  • Event information and statistics
  • ScorePoints calculation (based on accuracy)
  • Leaderboard ranking (based on SP, not capital)

Market Types (USDC Participation Only)

If you participate with USDC (where permitted), you may encounter different market types:

Pool-Based Markets (V1)

  • All votes go into a shared pool
  • Winners receive a proportional share based on their vote size
  • Fixed outcomes - you cannot exit your position before resolution

LMSR-Based Markets (V2)

  • Uses automated market maker (AMM) mechanics
  • Probabilities adjust dynamically based on liquidity
  • You can buy and sell outcome shares before match ends

Note: These market types only apply to USDC participation. Free voting uses a simple voting system.

Vote Status

Your votes can have different statuses:

  • Active: Match hasn't started or is in progress
  • Won: Your vote was correct
  • Lost: Your vote was incorrect
  • Pending: Results are being calculated
  • Refunded: Match was cancelled or invalid
